MISSION

Our
definition of quality includes a mandate for selling
products and working with processes that cause the least
harm to the environment. We evaluate raw materials,
invest in innovative technologies & ideas, rigorously
police our waste and use a portion of our sales to
support groups working to make a real difference. We
acknowledge that the wild world we love best is
disappearing. That is why those of us who work here share
a strong commitment to protecting undomesticated lands
and waters by utilizing vintage American Values of
honesty, hard work, and making it fun to pursue your
dreams. We believe in using business & people to
inspire solutions to the environmental challenges of the
21st
century.
If you were always
on camera, then everything you did would go towards
shaping your personal brand, whether positive or
negative. What are your personal values, and what values
do you aspire to?
At Bravolight.com, LEDbravolight.com, and ObamaLED.com, we have
core values that act as a formalized definition of our company
culture. Our core values weren't formed by a few people from
senior management or consultants. Instead, we
have found the best of what we see currently working
out there, and from our own personal experiences, and here is
the final list we collectively came up with:
-
Deliver WOW through
Service
-
Create Fun by Being
Fun
-
Be Adventurous, Creative, and Open-Minded
and Welcome Change
-
Pursue Growth and Learning and Lead an
Examined Life
-
Build Open and Honest Relationships by
ALL Communication
-
Build a Positive Team and Family
Spirit
-
Do More with Less and Clean up Our Own
Act
-
Be Passionate, Determined and
Humble
-
Support Civil
Democracy and NGOs (non-governmental
organizations)

Credit for
synergizing these concepts goes to Yvon Chouinard and
Tony Hsieh, who inspire us and others daily.
Thank you, pioneers of last century &
today.

Since 1985, Patagonia has pledged 1% of sales to the
preservation and restoration of the natural environment. We've
awarded over 31 million dollars in cash and in-kind donations
to domestic and international grassroots enviro groups making a
difference in their local communities. Now the founder of
Patagonia, Yvon Chouinard, and Craig Mathews, owner of Blue
Ribbon Flies, have created a non-profit corporation with the
sole purpose of encouraging businesses to give back to the
environment.
We keep moving forward, opening new
doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and
curiosity keeps leading us down new
paths.
